Our commitments to you, clearly stated.

Section 1

Who We Are

Pathfinder is an online life and career direction platform operated by Intuitive Logic Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 16687846), registered at 1 Heathway, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8NX, United Kingdom. Pathfinder is a trading name of Intuitive Logic Limited. Where this policy refers to "we", "us" or "our", it means Intuitive Logic Limited.

Pathfinder is available to anyone aged 16 and over. Because some of our users may be under 18, we apply the standards of the UK Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code) to everyone who uses the service.

Section 2

Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Registration data, collected when you sign up: your first name, last name, email address, age, country of residence, phone number (international dialling code and number), and how you heard about Pathfinder.

Programme data, collected during your use of the platform: the four ikigai lists you submit (what you love, what you are good at, what you can be paid for, and what the world needs), any additional free-text answers you provide, and the report and Game Plan generated from that data.

Survey responses, collected before and after your report is generated: clarity, confidence and motivation scores, and any feedback you choose to give.

Payment data: your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that payment was made, the amount, and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card details.

Technical and usage data: how you interact with the platform, your approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type and device type. This is used to keep the service secure and to improve it.

We collect only the data needed to deliver the service. We do not collect special category data.

Section 3

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

  • Deliver your Pathfinder experience, including generating your personalised report and Game Plan
  • Take payment and keep records of it
  • Send you the emails needed to access and use your account
  • Contact you about your progress through the programme, including by WhatsApp where you have provided a phone number
  • Understand the impact of Pathfinder through anonymised aggregate analysis
  • Keep the platform secure and prevent abuse
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or commercial profiling.

AI processing: your ikigai lists are processed by AI models to identify your Life Paths and Ultimate Ikigai and generate your Pathfinder Report. This is described in full in our AI Policy. The AI works exclusively from the data you submit. Your Pathfinder Report is a tool to support your own thinking and decisions.

Section 4

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

Contract: to deliver the service you have purchased, including generating your report, taking payment, and sending account and progress emails.

Legal obligation: to keep payment and accounting records as required by law.

Legitimate interests: to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and analyse anonymised usage to improve the service, where those interests do not override your rights.

Consent: for analytics cookies, and for any optional communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Section 5

Children and Young People

Pathfinder is available to users aged 16 and above. In the UK, people aged 13 and over may give their own consent to online data processing.

In line with the UK Children's Code, we:

  • Collect only the minimum data needed to deliver the service
  • Apply the highest privacy settings by default
  • Do not use data for commercial profiling or targeted advertising
  • Present privacy information in plain, accessible language
  • Do not use manipulative design to encourage data sharing
  • Do not collect precise geolocation data
  • Share data with third parties only where necessary to deliver the service

Section 6

Data Retention

We hold your personal data, including your ikigai lists, Pathfinder Report and Game Plan, for as long as your account exists. This allows you to return and generate an updated Game Plan as your circumstances change.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Survey responses used in aggregate analysis will be anonymised rather than deleted. Payment records are retained for six years after the transaction, as required by UK tax law.

Email delivery logs are retained for 12 months.

Section 7

Third Parties

We use the following processors to deliver Pathfinder. Each operates under a data processing agreement and may use your data only on our instructions.

Supabase: hosting and database infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Google (Gemini): AI processing for report generation.

Anthropic (Claude): AI processing for report generation, used when required for reliability.

Stripe: payment processing. Stripe is an independent controller of your payment card data under its own privacy policy.

Mailgun: transactional email delivery.

Cloudflare: content delivery, security, and bot protection on our sign-up form.

Google Analytics: anonymised website usage analytics, active only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

CookieYes: management of your cookie consent choices.

Section 8

International Transfers

Some of our processors, including Google, Anthropic, Stripe, Mailgun and Cloudflare, process data in the United States. These transfers are made under the UK-US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, both of which are recognised safeguards under UK GDPR.

Section 9

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies.

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect the sign-up form from automated abuse, and record your cookie preferences. These are required for the site to work and do not need your consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors use the site. These are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

You can change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. We do not use advertising cookies.

Section 10

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact the founder Valentine Stockdale via this WhatsApp link. We respond to data protection requests within 5 working days and complete them within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve your concern directly.

Section 11

Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to those who need it to deliver the service. Sign-in uses a secure link sent to your email address, so there is no password to steal.
